2003 APPLICATION

Presented by the Pamal Broadcasting Company, which has major radio stations in the Hudson Valley covering Westchester, Dutchess, Orange, and Ulster counties. Extensive advertising will be done on WHUD, WSPK, WBNR, and WLNA radio stations, as well as in print ads. Additional publicity will be generated on a national/regional scale through a public relations campaign. There will be a combination of chocolate and craft vendors, children’s activities, music, chocolate activities, and professional chef demonstrations. This year, the event has been moved to a large venue, closer to our local listeners, and very easy to get to, right in the heart of the Hudson Valley. It was held in this area in the past and was very well attended. Date:                              Sunday, November 16, 2003
Time:                            11 AM – 5 PM (setup 7 AM)
Place:                            indoors at Anthony’s Pier Nine catering facility, 2974 Route 9W, New Windsor, NY 12553
Jury:                            4 photos of your work, and 1 photo of your display
Fee:                               $75 for an 8x10 space
Electric:                       $25 extra
Tax Numbers:             Tax numbers are mandatory and sales tax must be collected.

Chocolate Vendors:      Will need permit from the Orange Co. Dept. of Health (info will be in acceptance letter)

Food:                              Available through Pier 9 ONLY HANDMADE WORK OF YOUR OWN MANUFACTURE WILL BE ACCEPTED. It is understood that contracts are not transferable and are valid for only those names on the original contracts. It is understood that the Pamal Broadcasting Co., and the show promoter will not be held responsible or liable for damage to property or loss through theft, breakage, fire or any other cause whatsoever or for any injury to patrons caused by the vendor.
